About Dr. Yaa
Warm greetings, my name is Dr. Yaa. I am a licensed social worker with a Master’s in Social Work and a PhD in Conflict Analysis and Resolution. My heart and work are devoted to supporting diverse communities—especially immigrants, women, and children. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of serving in nonprofit organizations as well as county, state, and federal settings, and these experiences have shaped my deep understanding of cultural identities, life transitions, trauma, and the resilience that lives within each person.
My approach is gentle, trauma-informed, and centered around you. I hold a strong belief that we all carry the inner tools needed to heal, grow, and navigate the conflicts or challenges life may bring. Sometimes those tools simply need a safe, compassionate space to surface. Other times, we need more steady support along the way.
Wherever you find yourself in your journey, I would be honored to walk beside you—offering warmth, presence, and a place where your healing can unfold naturally and at your own pace.
